It's been a hell of week. So much so that my plans to make Duck Confit for a dinner party with friends tomorrow night took the back seat.
It really takes a good part of a week to pull off a good confit. Worry not.... I have a plan B.
I dropped by "Stinky" on Smith street today, not only for a spot of cheese and a wiff of those amazing "maple bacon peanuts" they cook in house, but what do ya know- Duck Confit ready to go. Brilliant!
