Knockout beach walk..

After what seems like a contiously-bad-dream of a winter, the skies and temperature took a topping turn for the better. My usual Sunday morning beach walk was a most welcome pick-me-up and blue skies to boot.

The beach all to myself for miles and miles....

This week l tried Gilgo beach - again out on Long Beach, but before you hit Cedar beach, so just about an hour drive from here in Brooklyn,Carroll Gardens. This is where all the serious surfers come to ride the (not so vigorous waves), hopefully that will change with the Spring weather, but beautiful to jaw dropping-ly inspiring watching them out in the freezing sea.
